Context
A manufacturing company launched a worldwide digital transformation program with D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) to improve and standardize their core business processes. This project has a huge impact on critical business work streams (“Manufacturing”, “Order to Cash”, “Procure to Pay”, “Finance” and “BI-Reporting’) and required a dedicated project structure and change management for a successful implementation.
Accomplishment
Penon Partners led the US region implementation project and change management throughout all the phases of the program and for all the business work streams.
The deliverables included:
- Managing project (planning, user testing, collect setup, data migration prep, process flow, communication…)
- Mapping future processes and roles with local business activities
- Executing Change Management plan and engaging local actors to ensure adoption and business alignment
- Ensuring daily activities could be accomplished by teams (internally, with customers, and with vendors)
Outcome
The ERP D365 F&O went live in the US region with a fast ramp up of their manufacturing business at 50% capacity within 1 week and 75% in 2 weeks. The new system benefits were visible after a quarter of running period.
